SUPERIOR - 26 rooms
Situated in the new section of the Skotel. These rooms have a queen size bed and 1 single bed with tea / coffee making facilities, TV, phone, fridge, shower and toilet facilities (some with a bath).. Can accommodate 1 - 7 people.

We have a limited number of rooms with queen size bed and bunk sets suitable for families and one two bedroom unit that can sleep 6 people. Our rate is based on 2 person occupancy. There is a charge for additional adults but young children in existing bedding are free. We also have two rooms with king singles.

Each of our superior rooms has its own external balcony and a view of either across the golf course to the distant ranges, a view of Mt Ngauruhoe or a veiw of Mt Ruapehu.

STANDARD - 3 rooms
These are smaller rooms but the same facilities as the superior rooms. They have one double size bed. They are not suitable for group tour reservations. They can accommodate 1-2 people.

BACKPACKERS WING- 12 rooms
These rooms generally sleep three with a combination of a single bed and a bunk set. They include a handbasin and have easy internal access to the recently upgraded communal shower and toilet facilities. There is a small kitchen.

Our rate is based on a per person basis. Can accommodate 1 - 4 people.

CABINS - 5 units
These are small separate stand-alone units with great views. They are older style units and sleep up to 6 people with a double bed in the main room/lounge and 2 bunk sets in a partitioned area. All units have full cooking facilities with microwaves, TV, shower and toilet.

The rate is based on 4 person occupancy.

RECEPTION HOURS
Summer Hours: 7.00am - 8.00pm
Winter Hours: 7.00am - 8.30pm
Our reception staff can assist you with reservations for local sightseeing/ guided walks, restaurants, ski field information and the local area in general.

For after hours assistance please either go though to the Bar or call on the extension provided.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is 2.00pm.
If your room is serviced before that time, an early check-in is possible.

Checkout time is 10.00am.
If you want to check out later than 10.00am please make prior arrangements with reception.

It is normally not a problem to have an 11.00 or 12.00 checkout for some of the rooms. However, if this is not possible, or you wish to ski or walk on your departure day, we can store your luggage.

On your departure day, when you come back from your walk or skiing, you are welcome to complimentary use of the showers and facilities in our communal bathrooms before you leave the mountain. Towels and soap are available for a token fee.

HEATING
Superior rooms have a thermostat on the wall. Ensure that the wall heater is switched on and set the thermostat to the temperature you desire. The room will not heat any faster by setting it to a higher temperature. We recommend 15 degrees for comfortable sleeping at night and 20 degrees if you would like it warmer during the day.
The Superior rooms also have a separate fan heater in each bathroom controlled by a separate thermostat behind the door. Please make sure that this thermostat is turned down after each use.

TELEVISION
All units except the Backpackers have television sets.
Channels 1,2,3,C4, Maori TV and 2 Radio stations are available via free to air digital

RADIO
Each of the deluxe rooms has a radio in the bedside unit with Clock/Alarm.

SAFETY DEPOSIT
The Hotel advises guests to deposit their valuables in the Hotel safe. Access to the safe is available during reception operating hours only.
